Beauty Standards

The darker skin stigma is prevalent in virtually all Asian countries.  The lighter the skin, the more beautiful the woman.....according to beauty standards they have - just like here, we may like legs and boobs.  And sometimes these beauty standards change.  In Asia, too, the youthfulness of the skin (thus staying out the sun) is important, as are things like good teeth and hygiene.  South Korean women have the most plastic surgery, desiring big eyes, double eye lids, etc..  The objectification of Asian women is pretty astounding, and puts a lot of pressure on them.
