🍊 are the places I haven't done, but really want to do. In May, the islands marked orange in the east, near Cambodia - Koh kut and Koh Mak - would be very interesting. Just above them is Koh Chang. Been to Koh Chang a couple of times. These smaller islands would probably involve a stay up on Koh Chang as well. Always remember, Koh in Thai means island. Just like Wat is temple. Back up the coast a bit, heading heading towards Bangkok, is Chanthaburi. It's known for seafood, elephants and fruits. There's a huge festival in late May/early June. I have been wanting to go try all the durian, which is known as the King of Fruits. You should research durian. In my mind, I am imagining 2 or 3 days in Chanthaburi, 5 days on Koh Chang and another week divided between Koh Mak and Koh Kut. On the smaller islands, we'd have to rent small motorbikes. - e-mail to a cousin on 5/16/21
