B.Grimm is the oldest conglomerate in Thailand. It was started by an Austrian and a German. They opened the first German pharmacy in Bangkok in the 1870s. They were well connected to the Thai royal family. Might have even been granted Thai citizenship. They owned a mercantile business in Bangkok. The company, along with Siemens, helped design and build the BTS system. One of the family members is worth $3 billion.
