I rode with Kade's brother on his way to work. He dropped me off at CU Centenary Park.
After leaving the park, I walked towards Sukhumvit Road. I desired to begin my "Sukhumvit walk" at the MBK BTS station, right across from the soi that leads to the Jim Thompson House Museum.
Years ago Kade and I joined friends at the rooftop bar at that hotel.
That's the soi that takes you to the Jim Thompson House Museum. I have walked it many times.
I continued on to Siam Square, to see all the improvements going on. It was very early in the morning, so nothing was really open.
Siam Square is being renovated.
You see shrines like this all over Thailand.
Kade used to work in this building.
Chitlom Road
I studied Thai and did yoga in this building - well, the building that was here before. Bangkok is fast-changing.
I was back on Sukhumvit, walking in the direction of the Emporium shopping mall.
Who knows this place? Many men do!
I returned and got a massage here before jumping on the BTS/MRT.
I sat in one of those chairs and drank an iced coffee.
Seafood Fried Rice. Tasty!
I might have been the first customer of the day at the Emporium Food Hall.
It was time to head back. This is an escalator leading down to the MRT at the Asoke interchange. It was my first time using the blue line. Was relatively easy, and very convenient.
