I started with the high school one (Europe, 1987), which was for any students who wanted to go. The only two that were "missions" related were the summer in Canada and the year in Uzbekistan. The rest were trips I personally took, just for the pleasure. Luckily, I went back to Uzbekistan in 1998 and experienced it again through non-evangelical eyes. My favorite journeys were traveling around Eastern Europe in early 1995, semi-backpacking Asia solo for six months in 2000, spending a month in Russia with Kade in 2007. Of course, trips to Thailand are always fun. And when I lived in Bangkok from 2000-2005, I traveled whenever I could. I actually have blogged about most of these experiences.
