There really are a lot of cats in Bangkok. I saw somewhere that Moscow has the largest cat population of any city in the world. I would guess that Paris, NY, Istanbul and Bangkok are right up there. - an expat friend
We almost went to a cat theater in Moscow. Cats are way more manageable and better companions maybe during long winters.
