Glad you are safely home. Yes, jet lag is a bummer. They say you need one day for every hour of time difference to start feeling normal. I like Soi Rambuttri. When I lived in Bangkok, I was near the Victory Monument for a couple of years, then in the Pratunam area. Kade is from the Thonburi side of Bangkok - across the river from Khao San. It's quiet (for Bangkok), but is starting to really take off, which I know is not your thing. The BTS and MRT expanding all over the city, and one line is going about a 1/4 mile from Kade's house. It will help ease traffic congestion and property values are rising steadily. Good hearing from you. I have a pinched nerve in my neck and some shoulder pain, and won't be as energetic over the next few weeks. omg
