From the rooftop, he'll point out the Thong Lo BTS station. Kade and I used to live very close to it. Notice the BTS (skytrain) coming in. Also, near the Thong Lo BTS station are Octave and Tichuca, two impressive rooftop bars. Down one more station, you are within walking distance of Sabaijai, an excellent restaurant (Northeastern Thai) people shouldn't miss when in Bangkok.
