We took a taxi out to the airport to see if it would be easier to change our airline tickets. There was nobody out there who could handle it, unfortunately. Weird. Frustrating.
We did eat a very delicious lunch at the airport. That's Stir- Fried Shrimp w/ Basil!
We got back into the city.
Took this image of the Blue Line (MRT) from the taxi.
We arrived a Central Pinklao, one of my favorite malls.
At the food court where we had a fried oyster pancake or Pad Thai, we met a Thai-American lady who owns a restaurant in Washington state.
I really scored big after dinner!
A good Thai wife procures durian, helps display it for photos and even enjoys eating it with you.
This is a new variety for me in Thailand: tree-dropped Puangmanee.
Puangmanee is an Eastern Thailand durian that tastes like toffee and sweet chocolate poured over almond brittle. It has a golden flesh that's smooth and creamy. - source
Bought it at Tops Supermarket, then took it outside to eat on the steps of Central Pinklao.
