Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit

Atop the Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit is Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar - our destination.

Right straight ahead is Tichuca Rooftop Bar.  May try it next visit to Bangkok.

We arrived as soon as they opened (5 PM) to enjoy the views without lots of people.  It was hot!  The lounge, one floor below, would have given us some shade.  Our plan, though, was to hang out at Octave for about an hour, then make our way to Cielo Sky Bar & Restaurant.

Back down on Thonglor, we walked to a well-known mango shop, just to take a look.
