Tokyo From Above

At the 20:23 mark, looking way down there, that's the Shibuya Scramble Intersection.  It's the busiest intersection in the world.  About the entire population of my hometown (Headland, Alabama) walks through that intersection with each changing light.  And the two busiest rail stations in the world empty there.  Back in 2000, I sat at a Starbucks window seat and had a really good view of the action.

In 2021, on our way to Bangkok, my wife and I will spend about a week in Toyko.  I plan to take her  to one of the new rooftop views and to the Shibuya Starbucks.
