After a morning coffee on Rapallo's front beach road, we got some pastries at a neighborhood bakery and took them back to our apartment. Later in the day, after the heat had subsided, we dressed up - more than usual - and then walked up to the train station. We were going to the first village of the Cinque Terre: Riomaggiore. The plan was to get there around an hour or two before sunset, which we did. We wanted to take lots of photos and wander around. When we had our fill, it was back to Rapallo for a late-night pizza at Nettuno.
