But it's not like the week has been difficult. Lol
Love Koff & Things!
We took a Grab to Laap Tong Yang Restaurant. Ordered pork laap, fermented sour pork sausage, buffalo laap and sticky rice.
It's pretty common for Thais eat Buffalo Laap raw. I opted for the cooked version!
We didn't eat here, but I thought I would return. People have asked how difficult it is to order food in Thailand. Well, almost everywhere you go there are photos in the menus. I'd say it's very easy!
I ordered one of these drinks.
This Irish pub was a place I had read about. We got there for an early dinner. Very nice atmosphere!
Decent Old-Fashioned!
After dinner, we enjoyed the Kad Kongkao Walking Street Market, which was the primary reason I was trying to get to that little area of the Old City. It was a cute, small market. Ended up buying a Buddha lamp and some hand-painted shot glasses. We also talked with a beautiful young German lady who was on an extended trip (for months) in Southeast Asia. She's living the life!
Hmmm
The King!
After the smaller market, we took a Songthaew outside of the city walls to the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. It operates every night. And it's huge. There are some smaller night markets near CMNB: Anusarn Night Market, Pavillion Night Market, Kalare Night Bazaar and Ploen Ruedee Night Market. Chill Square food court at Anusarn Night Market is a nice place for dinner. Kalare Night Market also has a great food center.
We just scoped it all out. No shortage of delicious food in this city!
I'm enjoying the shot glasses I bought at Kad Kongkao Walking Street Market.
