Massages & Meals
I'm pretty much guessing that we got massages. We were in Thailand! All I know is that for this day, I just have these photos.
I went to this restaurant by myself. The name of it was Poppy's Kitchen. I had not researched it beforehand. I was just walking around the Old City, when I saw it and the urge hit.
This Cashew Chicken Stir-fry was delicious. I thought about this meal the rest of my trip, and have been thinking of it ever since. It was perfectly cooked, and the seasoning and flavors were unforgettable.
And don't get me started on the mango-banana smoothie!
Wow!
In the evening, for dinner, my cousin and I went to the Chiang Mai North Gate market. I really was hoping to get Khao Kha Moo (stewed pork leg, pickled mustard greens, a boiled egg w/ rice) served up by the "Cowboy Hat Lady" who appeared on Anthony Bourdain's travel-food show. You can learn more about it here. Unfortunately, although her food stall was open, she was not working that night. I decided just to skip it.
We ended up eating at another food stall. I got a coconut shake and yellow curry with seafood. It was pretty good.
