excerpt from an email I sent to family about the 2005 Miss Universe Pageant
Don't know if you had a chance to watch Miss Universe Thailand 2005 last evening. It was broadcast live to 120 countries. The Donald (of Trump fame) flew over to Bangkok for the huge finale. Perhaps you saw that Miss Canada (of Russian extraction) won the overall contest. The delegates have been in Bangkok and other parts of Thailand for the past three weeks. Unfortunately for me, I didn't spot any ladies walking around.
