I experienced saunas and hot springs - though much bigger - in Budapest, Prague, Almaty (Kazakhstan), Tokyo and Kyoto, then with Kade near Osaka, in Seoul and two hours outside Moscow. Very invigorating! The only difference is that in the USA clothing is required.

I stopped by for a look-see yesterday. We will try it soon. There's also Shoji onsen (Japanese-style) in a secluded area in the mountains, near the Blue Ridge Parkway.
