This is the spirit house at SO/ Bangkok.
After the rooftop experience, we took the MRT (metro) back to Sukhumvit Rd, then got on the BTS (skytrain). We took it to Ratchaprasong intersection to see the Erawan Shrine. From there, we walked through Gaysorn Village. I wanted to point out a few places: tea shop, whiskey bar, lobster roll restaurants, etc.. It may be Bangkok's most luxurious mall. It's smaller than the mega-ones, but very impressive. Even if you're not shopping, there are still plenty of places where you can hang out and relax. We saw a wonderful wine bar!
This is one of the shrines outside Gaysorn Village.
We then headed across the road to Central World - one of largest malls on the planet. The crowds, the sights, the foods, the stores....all of it is just dizzying and exciting. And on weekends?....WHOA!!!
We actually really only explored the right side of Central World - what's featured in this video. And when you're finished with it, enjoy this walking tour of the Central World "Top floor and Food Hall."
We had dinner at a restaurant inside Central World.
On the day, we walked 6.63 miles.
