We went to Terminal 21-Asok for lunch. Their food court is pretty amazing.
After lunch, I headed out to meet my brother-in-law. He took me to a pharmacist to get an antihistamine. A pharmacist can approve certain prescriptions. You don't have to run to a doctor for all of them. She also said that since I had no fever, it wasn't necessary to get tested for Covid. Often people wonder about medical care when they're traveling. You can get excellent care in Thailand at a fraction of the cost in Western countries. Still, it's smart to maintain your health insurance back home and even consider a policy that can cover a medical flight home in case of an emergency. An nowadays, with Covid, it's wise to even get some local insurance to cover you while you're in Thailand. Look into it.
In the early evening, we set off for Jodd Fairs night market. It's the best one in Bangkok. To get there, it involved using the BTS (skytrain) and MRT (metro). I didn't really take any photos. We were so focused on eating! I really enjoyed chicken kebabs, and my cousin tried mango sticky rice for the first time.
I've enjoyed this guy's videos for almost two years. Before I travel, I use Instagram and YouTube to do some research.
When we were done at Jodd Fairs, we enjoyed a bit of the nightlife near Asok. I wanted to show him Soi Cowboy and walk a bit down Soi 23.
