One way to get to Sam Roi Yot Beach is by bus. I was hoping for a bus that was a bit more comfy - plusher, in other words - but this was all that was available. On an extended trip like we were on, one good thing is being open to anything. No pressure. Maybe the more local experience is the most rewarding. You can get to Sam Roi Yot by rental car. You can hire a car w/ driver. There's even a train station somewhat nearby. What's really going to be great is when Thailand's high-speed railway gets completed.
We got out at Tesco-Lotus (now Lotus's) to do some shopping before being picked up by a driver who would take us to the resort.
We made it!
We then hopped on bicycles and rode up and down front beach road.
The resort offers all these tours.
