Inside the national park, there was a cafe with any and everything you need. I suggest relaxing there before and after your hike. If you don't desire to hike to the cave, that's okay. You can hang out on the beach.
Back at the resort, my clothes had been washed, air-dried, folded and packed in a plastic bag. Laundry service in Thailand is fantastic!
At dinner, this sweet dog that I met yesterday, walked over and sat with me as I ate.
We left early in the morning to reach the boat. Instead of going with a group, we opted to set this up as a private tour. After getting the phone number for the boat service, it was fairly easy to arrange. If you can get a Thai friend to assist in making that call, it's even better. A bit later, I will attach the advertisement for the boat service and share what we paid.
I had done this exact tour a few years ago. The hike this time was even a bit more challenging! Make sure you take plenty of water, wear the right shoes and a sun hat, and don't forget sunblock.
