Photographed this in the Bangkok Art & Culture Center (BACC).
I stayed here once.
The couple who started The Atlanta Hotel
Just when Kade and I had started dating, she came to pick me up at The Atlanta. We ate lunch at one of those tables on the left.
Right across the soi (lane) from The Atlanta is a rooftop bar.
The fries and mango mocktail were very good. And, overall, despite it being a small, rather hard to reach rooftop bar, I liked it.
Japan-ISH Rooftop Bar & Modern Kitchen is on Soi 11, a very popular road in Bangkok for good eats, dancing and partying. I've now been to at least five rooftop bars on Soi 11.
This was an excellent drink (I think a mocktail). But right at the start, I knew Japanish (Japan & Spanish flavors) was going to satisfy me. I felt welcomed there. The manager (a guy from Germany who's been living in Thailand for 15 years) was very friendly. We talked a good bit. He later introduced me to the chef, who was from Southern Spain.

I really enjoyed this sushi!
My server was also very professional and sweet.
When I was leaving Japanish, I talked a little bit with the beautiful hostess. She couldn't believe my rooftop bars #s. As the elevator doors were closing, I heard her go "Woooow!"
As you might can tell, I definitely recommend Japanish. And I didn’t even mention the amazing decor!
I was off to the next one: Nest Rooftop Lounge.
