I took a little detour to check out One Bangkok, which seems to be opening in phases. When it's completely finished, I'll return for a thorough look-around.
This is Umeshu Bar & Bistro. It's a Japanese spot that specializes in plum wine. It's run by young Thais who love Japan. Maybe I will try it in 2025.
Jeab caught me!
I didn't fall for it this time, but they must have known I was walking by.
I was very pleased with this mocktail. So refreshing!
I really liked Cactus Rooftop Bar. There are a couple by this name (or similar), so make sure you select the right one. I was the first customer of this day! I was there even before they opened, and the bartender let me to relax and charge my phone while he got everything ready. I really appreciated that. I also got to meet the couple (French & Thai) that own the bar. They were very nice!
Rum & Orange Rooftop Bar @ The Fig Lobby is quite interesting. All I can say is research the bar, hotel and area very thoroughly before you decide to embark on the adventure. I met a friend over there.
The hotel design and concept score very high on the unique scale.
After a good visit, we then walked to the MRT.
I ended my evening at Park Silom, at a favorite diner.
