Healthcare

I combined photos from different days.  I mainly wanted to show items I got at a pharmacy for a sinus infection.  Also, Kade had helped me buy some herbal cough suppressants.  I tried a few different ones!

At the beginning of the trip, counting two days in Kuala Lumpur and my first four days in Bangkok, I was not feeling well.  I tested for Covid, and that came back negative.  The pharmacist in Bangkok then treated me for a sinus infection.  I got much better, thankfully.  However, towards the end of the trip, symptoms returned.  At that point, Kade and her brother took me to see a doctor at Siriraj Hospital.  I was diagnosed with sinusitis.  I was prescribed meds, antibiotics and advised to use a nasal flush.  After a few days, I was already much better.  Luckily, our trip was long enough (two months) so that I had days where I could simply stay in and rest.  Resting and doing nothing are great remedies.

Everything you see in the first three images was less than $20 US at a Bangkok pharmacy.

I sipped this for a few days.  Helped.

Siriraj Hospital to the rescue!

All this for just under $100 US.
