This is what I did over six full days in the Malaysian capital. If you want to sample durian while visiting only KL, it's an especially good itinerary.

*Jalan Alor for dinner
*Changkat - bars
Day 2 - Tuesday
*Walked around Lot 10 Hutong Food Court and eyed Damascus
*Nasi Lemak at Capitol Cafe
*Walking tour: Muzium Negara, Masjid Negara (National Mosque), Merdeka Square (Independence Square), Central Market, Chinatown
Day 3 - Wednesday
*Lot 10 mall food court
*SS2 Durian House Stall
Day 4 - Thursday

The caves and a rooftop bar experience would have been a fabulous way to round out the trip. Could have done them with a bit more planning and more energy.
*Batu Caves for sunrise - Grab
*Durian BB Park - 23 minutes from caves, Grab there and back to hotel
*KL Tower Observation Deck at sunset
