A Little Walk

(Not Just) Another Cup

I met a British friend for coffee.

This certainly caught my eye!

My intention after my get-together with my friend was to walk around Sathon and Silom and take images of spirit houses and shrines.  The particular shrine was on the cleared lot next to the coffee shop.

Recognize this skyscraper?  See the glass skywalk?

I took this image from the Amara Bangkok (hotel) elevator.  I was going up to check out their rooftop bar.

I saw this business name and thought of my cousin!

This is a view from the 9th floor terrace at Silom Edge.

Looking out over Lumpini Park, towards Sukhumvit Rd.  Quite a skyline!

Those large buildings are part of the One Bangkok development.

An auspicious year!

After grabbing a refreshing Matcha smoothie, I walked around Patpong - Bangkok's oldest red light district.  During the day, there's nothing really going on.  I wouldn't be surprised if Patpong is in its last years.  Looks like a prime area for more office buildings.

Imagine the stories.

This spirit house is on the property where the old Dusit Thani hotel stood.
