Cousin Charles

On our last trip we flew into Santiago, Chili and worked our way to Buenos Aires with a group called Road Scholar.

We enjoyed the seeing the volcanos in Chili and also Iguazu Falls, which are amazing. We took a lake crossing to get from Chili into Argentina.

Some years before in about 2005, we took a Road Scholar trip to Peru to study ancient civilizations. We have been to Lima, Trujillo, Cusco and Machu Picchu. I have some relatives in Peru, but have lost contact with them. One of my great-grandfathers on my father's side was from England. He came to Texas and his brother went to Peru.

While not in South America, we have also been on a bird watching trip to Costa Rica.
