One of the discoveries I made recently when cleaning out my family home in Alabama was a very sharp knife that came from Uzbekistan. It was either the one I bought for my stepdad or one an Uzbek friend presented as a gift to my family. You can see it below. As it turns out, decorative knives are very popular in Uzbekistan, and there's a rich history behind them. I also remember bringing back numerous knives like this to my sponsors that year I lived in Tashkent. I had at least ten knives in my checked bag!
