Drove past some of the key spots in Central Bangkok: the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Ratchanaddarm, Wat Saket and the Democracy Monument.
Earlier in the evening, we had dinner at a night market on the Thonburi side of Bangkok, about a thirty-minute drive from Central Pinklao (just for those who know the city), out in a sprawling suburban area where people are building more spacious homes to escape the hectic, chaotic ways of the city. What I liked is that the market offered the same street food you'd see in the heart of the city, yet was a lot cleaner and more comfortable, and well worth the drive.
