Kade and I visited the Namtok Phlio National Park in the early days of our relationship - circa 2001. We had gone to Chanthaburi province, east of Bangkok. We visited a rambutan and durian farm, and we also stopped off at this national park. I remember feeling the cool mist from the waterfall and being amazed by the sheer number of fish swimming in the pool. I was also being attacked by mosquitos! I left there thinking I would love to go back and spend the night in one of the bungalows near the falls.
Ah, the days before digital cameras!
