Thanks Aunt Marilyn for passing along this treasure! I didn't carry Major's bag on Kade's and my trip to Russia last year. Something tells me it wouldn't have held up. 
Thanks for the copy of my Aunt Edith's letter to my Uncle Major. I can't remember exactly when he made that trip to Russia, but I think it was while I was in college. I met him at the Atlanta airport as he was leaving for the first part of his trip. I think my mother was with me. I know I took a picture of him with his camera just before he got on the plane.
